In the bloginning...

Welcome to Ars Scientifica, which I have created, ostensibly, to frame raw scientific information in more palatable metaphoric and perhaps (if I succeed in my ambition) poetic terms.  Herein lies recognition that our process of understanding is manifold, and that most of us find it laborious or unfulfilling to meet the physical universe at its own mathematical level without a dose of simile or art.  I hope this blog can, in some small part, facilitate an exchange of insight between science and society, and perhaps inspire others to look at nature with a sense of wonderment through the lens of knowledge.
